1. Photography Services

As photography services are time-based and custom in nature, they are generally non-refundable once performed. However, we understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate changes or cancellations.

1.1 Cancellations

Our cancellation policy for photography services is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled session: The deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied to a future booking within 6 months.
  • Cancellations made 15-30 days before the scheduled session: 50% of the total service fee is payable.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the scheduled session: 100% of the total service fee is payable.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) to be valid.

1.2 Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances may require rescheduling your session:

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session.
  • One rescheduling is permitted without an additional fee, subject to availability.
  • Additional rescheduling may incur a fee of 25% of the total service cost.

Note: For outdoor sessions affected by adverse weather conditions, rescheduling will be offered at no additional charge.

2. Physical Products

Physical products include printed photographs, albums, frames, and other tangible items.

2.1 Custom Products

Custom-created products (such as photo albums, personalized prints, or specially designed frames) are created to your specifications and therefore are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

2.2 Standard Products

For standard, non-personalized photography products:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the product is in its original, unused condition with all packaging intact.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment within 14 business days of receiving the returned product.

2.3 Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Notify us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence of the damage.
  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.
  • In some cases, we may request the return of the damaged item before processing a replacement.

3. Digital Products

Digital products include digital image files, online galleries, and electronic deliverables.

3.1 Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital downloads are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the files have been downloaded.

3.2 Image Quality Concerns

If you have concerns about the quality of your digital images:

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery with specific details about your concerns.
  • We will review the images and address any legitimate technical issues with editing or processing at no additional cost.
  • Stylistic preferences or changes requested after approval of a proof or concept are not covered under this policy and may incur additional charges.

Note: For all digital deliverables, we recommend downloading and backing up your files immediately. Access to online galleries and download links may expire as specified in your contract.

4. Passport and ID Photos

For passport and identification photography services:

4.1 Compliance Guarantee

We guarantee that our passport and ID photos will meet the relevant regulatory requirements for the specified document type.

  • If your passport or ID photo is rejected by the issuing authority due to a technical error on our part (incorrect size, background, etc.), we will retake the photo at no additional charge.
  • Proof of rejection from the issuing authority must be provided within 30 days of the original service.
  • This guarantee does not cover rejections due to factors beyond our control (such as changes in appearance or government policy changes after the photo was taken).

5. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates for photography services are subject to the following terms:

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another person.
  • Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
  • Expired gift certificates may be extended at our discretion and may be subject to a reactivation fee.

6. Service Quality Guarantee

At Klozslyx, we stand behind the quality of our work:

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your photography session, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your images.
  • We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include additional editing, a partial refund, or a complimentary mini-session, as appropriate to the situation.
  • Any quality concerns must be specific and reasonable, relating to technical aspects of the photography rather than subjective stylistic preferences.

Important: Artistic interpretation, style, and creative direction are subjective aspects of photography and are not valid reasons for refund requests. We encourage reviewing our portfolio thoroughly before booking to ensure our style aligns with your vision.

7. Refund Processing

When a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible.
  • Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
  • Refunds for credit card payments may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.

8. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise:

  • In cases of serious illness, family emergency, or other extraordinary circumstances, we may offer more flexible cancellation or rescheduling terms at our discretion.
  • Documentation may be required to verify such circumstances.
  • All requests for exceptions must be made in writing as soon as possible.
